Senior Backend & Data Platform Engineer — Jitsu

We are looking for a Senior Backend & Data Platform Engineer to contribute to Jitsu’s core data pipeline and production infrastructure.

You will work across backend services, distributed event processing, data warehouses, and Kubernetes deployments. Your responsibilities will range from developing new ingestion and destination capabilities to diagnosing production pipeline failures and improving the reliability, scalability, and operability of Jitsu deployments.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can own a problem end to end: understand user requirements, design the solution, implement it across service boundaries, test it, deploy it, and verify that it works reliably in production.

The role is approximately:

• 70% backend and data-pipeline engineering.
• 30% Kubernetes, infrastructure, reliability, and operational tooling.
